Following feedback from my tutor on how to improve my magazine, I have chosen to resubmit it with these improvements.
On the front cover, I removed the grain/texture from the font to make it more bold and much easier to read while being more appealing.
For the contents page, I removed the grain/texture from the background and edited the photos- I made Rachael, from my front cover, the main image and made her black and white to show continuity between the photos of the front cover and her own apparent article. I also placed a different model where Rachael use to be- I feel this fits much better with the other image and makes it similar enough to show a sort of specific style to the magazine.
For the doublepage spread, I removed the grain/texture from the background and made a new 'L'. I feel this is much more clear and bold, standing out using the red outer glow and shadow to make it stand out. I also used a new model/photo that I feel reflects all the previous photos better and made the red font slightly darker to follow the house-style colours.
